Meet Our Founder, Heather

Heather is the founder of Sagrada Botanical Gardens. She is a radical lifestyle curator with an eclectic background in large and small scale interior design projects, educational & community initiatives, and intentional community development. Her diverse background serves to collaborate on such community projects with deep connections to support the wellbeing of the earth and the people. Heather has a BFA in Fine Arts & Early Childhood Education from Western University of Colorado, and a BA in Interior Design from Art Institute of Colorado.

Early on in her interior design career, she worked on numerous large scale hospitality projects including The Bellagio Hotel, the Paris Hotel and Casino, and the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino.

Heather’s time spent as an interior designer brought her clarity that her passion stemmed far beyond simply creating beautiful interiors. Heather began supporting and building programs for marginalized communities, those looking to reclaim the lost land of their ancestors and those seeking empowerment to move from a position of poverty in a self-directed manner. She has sat on many community boards and has acted as a connector and facilitator.

Heather’s most beloved projects are SproutIn’ Up CSA (NonProfit for Young Adult Farmers), Plenty Heirloom Farms, Be You Innovation Lab & E3 Personalized Learning Programs for the Thompson School District, The Life Center Larimer County and Catalyzing Communities for a Regenerative Future in Patzcuaro, Mexico. She resonates deeply with people and the land to inspire others to re discover legacy and reciprocity.

Heather currently resides in Colorado and continues to be in awe of her natural surroundings. Her passions and business adventures support her travel bug and looks into every community with curiosity and wonder. Her passion to create a world of reciprocity is her purpose and she sees the future of the planet’s dream.
